I’m a racist because I don’t like the president
I’m a redneck because I live in the south
A child abuser because I believe in discipline
A Neanderthal because I believe in punishment for crimes
A muderer because I believe in the death penalty
An oppressor because I don't want murderers to go free
I believe in small government so I don’t care about people
I don’t blindly follow popular trends, that brands me as out of touch
I’m a bigot because I believe everyone should be treated the same
I’m a homophobe because I don’t support gay pride marches
I’m old fashioned because sex in public offends me
I’m too nice so I am not a leader
I have opinions, so labeled a radical
I believe in respect so am hopelessly outdated
I deplore rudeness, so I’m a wimp
My belief in freedom labels me as a terrorist
But there are no terrorists, only victims of my nation
Guilty as charged, Is the internment camp or firing squad
Ready? aim, fire!

Old Abe was right, but that ain't gonna happen. I would love to see today's poloticians, live as a poor-man for one year, before taking office, and then a year after, that way he/she would be sure to take care of us while they were in office, as they would have to live it before and after. Yeah, I would like for them to live right along side of us with say a salary of 25-40 K a year for a year or so and have to get by and feed his family, take care of his house, car etc. Might bring them down to earth. But my husband is a proud hillbilly, and I am proud to be married to him. More than anything else Paw remember you have talked some sense in to some of us!!!
