Perseverance ditty

To all else new and

Brave, now seems

Horrifically mundane

Like you and I

Whatever chinked mint

We once held as true

Bears season's

Unforgiving rule

But there our rapture lies!

For a genuine wish to

Nurture true affection

Should never be excused

Smooth...

I don't think this is messy at all... I think it's lovely and smooth. I'm always amazed at how much your poetry will speak; without a bunch of words, to confuse the issue. That's why I always check to see what you've written. That's also why I call your poetry exquisite. Raven

Dear Raven

I wasn't so sure about this write, as it jumped out on the page. As you know, I'm a fan of the Haiku format,- a crutch, of sorts. So, whenever I go 'freestyle', I feel unsteady. On that note I thank you for your kind support, making me feel a little more grounded. Yours, Espen.

Espen!

Feet on the ground - head in the clouds... That's how you strike me! A nifty little write. Inspired as ever! Boni

Bonita

Boni, Coming back to this page after reading ''THIS PASSION'', I got a feeling that I'm just scraping the surface with this one. But thanks for the compliments,- I take those to heart. Espen.

Norway has given Neopoet two

Norway has given Neopoet two things of note: Ann of Norway and now you. (Forgive me if I missed anyone) And this last paragraph: But there our rapture lies! For a genuine wish to Nurture true affection Should never be excused May this be on our last breath! ~A "If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is wound up in mine, then let us work together." Aboriginal Activist Group, Queensland, 1970's

Dear kailashana

It should indeed be on our last breath! Glad we're on the same page. Thank you for stopping by. Yours, Espen.
