Corey...

This is really good! I had a little beat going there, while I was reading it. Raven

Raven

You caught that beat too huh? Those were feathers pounding on my heart as if it were a bass drum. And all the while, spirits dance! Blessed be Yours

Marie

Marie…I can not, shall not, will not! Be held accountable for the uncontrollable impulses that may occur upon the reading of said poem. Further more, in no way, shape, or form shall I accept responsibility for costs incurred when making regular trips to the grocery store for munchies after the reading of such material. I relinquish any and all liability to the individual in which this stands. Thanks for dropping in, happy you could find something to your liking. And you're welcome, alot! :) Corey

Hah!

What a setup, Corey. And I was just about to send you my bill. Well, thanks for being straight with me, anyway. I'm off to devour an expensive fresh fig.

Snack Attack

Curiosity at the unsual format and the quick pace made me gobble this up. I thought at one point that you were going to break into the old favorite of mine: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream. Nice work. ~ Gee

Thx ~Gee I suspect there were a few of those old ditties floating around in my head when I rambled this one off. It is a wonder what effects of even a little bit of caffeine can do to a hungry individual. Stay well, ~C

Caffeine.. .

Caffeine, I remember it well! Ah, for the days when I could drink whatever I wanted with no dire effects. It was a nice write and I enjoyed it. Geezer

Uh-oh

Looks like you had fun (too darn much of it) in the writing of this. Wondering how it'd all look in the vertical (rather than in its present close-to-the-margin horizontal). It'd take an awfully wide sheet of paper to accommodate the long line, of course. And I must say I've now had too much fun in the reading of it. Nowadays, since I'm diabetic, I can't/won't snack; instead I'll check my blood pressure ... and take a stab for the blood sugar while I'm at the BP. (I'd use the initials BS for "blood sugar," but it might be misunderstood. (Though nothing new there; I'm often misunderstood.)) Thanx, Chuck

Thx, Chuck!

I certainly did have a bit of a blast when I birthed this one. But, ummm…are you sure you don’t have your glasses on sideways, my good man? I rather thought that it was in a vertical format already. Or maybe, I’m mistaken? Either way, I think I caught your point, as I could only imagine what our three ring binders would end up looking like then. Knowing that it brought at least a few smiles to some faces out there is the greatest compliment that I could have hoped for, for it. Please feel free to feel that you are welcomed here. Corey

Oops!

My brain twisted ... and failed to inform me of it. If you replace my vertical with horizontal (and vice versa), I think the comment's a better fit with reality. Something I think I could do a bit more work on. Altho some things are clearly from the start impossible of achievement; so perhaps I'd better not try. Maybe I ought to apply my efforts to more productive matters. When the person at the library checkout's prone to say on my approach, "May I help you," I respond (appropriately), "I think you assume, perhaps in error, that I'm helpable." Anyway ... Thanx, Chuck

Dear 2 Quills

Such a pace, loved it.The agitation to rush for a snack, been there, done that, put a smile on my face. I loved reading this. Well done. Thanks Lyz XX
