Tarnished Wings Part Three

"My Lady ''' he purred, as he held out his hand
"Is this any way to welcome me to your land?"
He gently helped the queen to her feet
"My Lady" he whispered "this day is so sweet"
"Who are you?"  she whispered, he voice down low
" You do not belong here, I want  you to go!"
                                          "Your majesty" he whinned
                                             In a falsely hurt voice,
" I will do as you say, if that is your choice."
" But as the queen that you are, you know that it is wrong,
"To not take me in for one night, for my journey has been long."
"Just let me rest my ery head, for only one moon or two,
Then I will take leave of this place, as you wish me to do."
She stared deep in his eyes
"I do not trust this man."
"But turn him away?I do not know if i can."
"Very well" she sighed, her giving side with the win,
Not realizing the disaster, that was about to begin

                                                                                                                                                      to be continued

Green Eyes...

Here's a suggestion... Take all the time in the world you need. Don't feel rushed... don't pressure yourself. Do not put stress on your Muse. Remember... you are giving life to a work of Art. Like any great Artist... you need to go slow... nurture your Muse...lovingly. Play with your Muse...There is no Deadline... You have all the time in the world. In order to Weave Brightly, you have to Weave slowly... With my love, Raven

Time

If this old neanderthal can be allowed to blunder, heavy-footed, into this faerie bower. Green eyes , take your time , jot down lines as they occur to you, collect them as a child collects shells by the sea-shore, then arrange them into the pattern of your wonderful story. Would I be wrong in guessing that personal hurt is being exorcised here? Kindest Regards Ian
