DAMN THEM ALL
DAMN THEM ALL Some people say, ‘Life is war’It could as well be the travailsThrough the thick forest of errorsDegenerated men created our warsAnd damned the consequences The restless child who saysThe mother should not sleepAnd cries all night for breast milkThe child too will not sleepDamn it, you know not labour pains To many, life is like a rat raceThey steal from public coffersStash away the loot in foreign banksCrazy baldheads and fat stomachsDamn all forms of corruption The struggle is my life, he saidTo free men from the sticky webWhich entangles and strangulatesThe child grows to become a manDamn all off-putting oppositions Of the wars we have foughtAnd the battles we have wonWho will say they lost nothingWar can not finish the multitudeExcept those that are damned Fear any form of religious extremismOr militants who carry arms to attackThey wreak havoc and terror in the landTo those who avoid negotiating tablesWhat else can I say? Damn them all
