The Song of God (The Bhagavad Gita)

The Song of God

Sunrise
over
bloody battlefield
glint of steel
acrid smoke
burning
nostrils
fires of hell
ignite
the last temptation
of a heart..

the walking wounded
gather,
and
the dead bury the dead.

LOL. Brat!Mais, non!!…

LOL. Brat! Mais, non!!... it's a poem about battles... PERIOD...any resemblance to any war is in the reader's mind... attack, parry, coup lancé, disengage.. Ha! ~A p.s. I'll return to the scene of the crime... "You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality." Ayn Rand

free the peace

Touché! …nah, Mais, non! I’m a lover not a fighter. This piece is bitter sweet for it’s profound implications in it’s meaning. In my minds eye I see but I ask this question…after any battle, can there ever really be a winner? Better yet, could there ever be peace without war? Or are we all doomed to finding revelation only after such tragedies occur? I’m learning French as we go so bare with moi, lol Corey

Baring (;-) with you, Corey,

Baring (;-) with you, Corey, in truth, we live our lives in a world created from substance some call it spirit, some call it the space of nothingness... Humans evolve from the duality between something-everything and nothing...(imo) part of that is a return to nonduality---the Many-ness into One-ness... It's the battle of a lifetime. Love, Anna "You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality." Ayn Rand

ah yes

"the dead bury the dead" favorite line here isn't death a mysterious, holy being [this is just my opinion of course] and war, well that's different like your piece a nice clarification of soul -diatom shells
