Death by Colision or by Decision
Death by collision or decision
Running scared, running fast and straight
At top speed, and than out of the garden gate
Some thing big, and bright
Some thing white
Cold frozen steel
Against
A warm blooded mammal
Ignited with freedom on the running end of
That rotten chain; he is lose again
From this his tether bound
Which kept him whirling round
Kept him turning on muddled ground
Kept him circling on frozen feceed covered ground
Left alone for hours; forgotten
But, yet still he is missed their dog; Cotton
The Driver has no where to go
A vehicle to close behind oh! No!
No escape for him to find
While driving down on County Line
This young pup had some nerve
Although short lived it was served
So nervous this driver was as the duel begun
It soon did end with a thump bump thump
The death roll seen in frighted mirror
The scene swept clean by the plow in terror
How unkind was this, his demise
But, yet I wonder was this hound wise
Or
Was it death by decision
Or collision?
