Dilemma

      Dilemma

Loosing the present pleasures

I am searching the past land marks

Avoiding the real ways

I am waking with the shadows

What is my search ?and what is my  need?

It is my way to find answer to my quest

Many palaces may be in my way  but

my home is a simple hut

There may be many lights all along my way but

But my eyes are in an endless  dark

What  can I do ? and How to overcome this

It is my struggle and it is my game

My hands are playing sword with shadows

though my real enemy is in front of me

Am I a  tough? or soft in nature? and

Am I a brave or coward to meet my wars?

I have asked this to my Guiding light

I will get a reply from His milky way.

I like the shadow

I like the shadow imagery: 'I am waking with the shadows' and 'My hands are playing sword with shadows' I also love this section: 'Loosing the present pleasures I am searching the past land marks Avoiding the real ways I am waking with the shadows' I see the theme as being the universal search in life for truth, our pathway in life, and the search for our true-selves. I like the way the shadows and darkness emphasise what a struggle this search is, and the ending with the milky way is a beautiful finish, showing how God(or your Guiding Light) can enlighten us. The contrast between this stunning starlight and the shadows is effective. The title appealed to me as I like simple titles... if you wanted to change it, perhaps something to do with shadows and light, as this is a repeated theme, or something to do with the stars or milky way? I enjoyed your poem! Minor corrections: loosing is losing Repeated be: way but But my eyes are in an endless dark
