Monotony

All are the same; just they are same

They look identical, look like machines

All play same game; with the same name

Mix of connatural talks, and the same means

All are the same; they are so tame

They go through same street, achieve same goal

All to snatch the money; money is no shame…

Inconvertible thoughts and covetous souls

All are the same; yes they are same

Likewise smile, similitude countenance

All are so lame; bound by same frame

In an axis like ants, paralysed by pretence

Is there anyone different? And little indifferent?

Holding other perception, learning different tune

Surviving this dent; brushing a new paint

Insusceptible by this infection, ardently immune.

I think ...

... it works quite well (in the first three stanzas) your repetition of long-a words---and rhymings within lines as well as at their ends. As to the questions you've posted: What did you think of my title? Perfect title. I can't imagine one more perfect. How was my language use? Quite good. Though a bit of tweaking here and there may be in order. What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing? Good. How does this theme appeal to you? Theme's right on! Your underlying cynicism, if I can call it that, mirrors mine well. Although I must confess I've managed in my life to box it off into its corner so that it can't/won't interfere with my overall (fortunate) feeling of wellness. A wellness that I must fight for daily (being an elder diabetic on insulin). Glad you're here. Chuck
