Mystical Ball
Water imps playing
in the soft light
Dance the mystic
a ceremonies rite
Traveling trees
pass by with smiles
sometimes taking
months to walk miles
Families of forest
watch on with awe
tiptoe to shadows
breaking imp law
Fireflies slicing
through the wind
shearing a breeze
diving rescinds
Presented on flowers
the faeries arrive
an invitation gnomes
did help connive
A path of Lillie’s
scrolled around
paisley patterns
on the ground
Mystical nights
fantasy enthralled
the imps did host
their very own ball
