you, noting sapphos

so here
you tiptoe

lilywhite and
wild eyed

icing the night against your
small hand,

casting a spidery net
out  for the moon

Hi Whitetea,

this poem is everything a poem should be. so here you tiptoe as this poem tiptoes, quietly, secretly under my skin. Discreet, casual, and highly evoking imagery has roped me in here like that spidery web intended for the moon. Yours, ~Nina

From long ago

one of the first I remember striking to see you again and read the fantasm that you craft Heart works superb and delicate strong machinery for the read tumbling down the chute to spill in the whirlpool of thoughts like stars naked on the blue tableau peircing and heated

This is so beautiful and so

This is so beautiful and so delicate and haunting. No idea what it's about could be so many things? It has a childlike quality something innocent and playful but it's also emotive, full of complex imagery. Sweet!

A delight to read, really refreshing.. wonderful in its gentleness & sensitivity & still it travels so firmly to the soul. I feel Vulpine has said it beautifully above. an image

that makes one think of some moonlit, nonhuman creature approaching one in the middle of the night without warning. this immediately struck like a crystallized piece of vision: rereadings were superfluous. terrifying beauty here. bravo

Welcome back, whitetea.

Welcome back, whitetea. Love the poem... it's the bare bones of a poet (nakedness) that makes a poem such as this. Thank you for sharing. (And I love naked truth...a la Sappho's poetry) ~A "You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality." Ayn Rand
