BY THE DOOR WE WAIT

BY THE DOOR WE WAIT

It is said a dog is a man best friend
We both are loyal
By the door we wait

For whom we love
Without purpose
Without clause
Unconditional  is our faith
Unconditional  is our love

His tail waggles
Back and forth
His happiness
Is the purees  gift
 Unconditional  is  trust
 Unconditional  is  love

A man waddles
His tail , by his smile
With  purpose
With faith
Only for his love
Loyalty  uncompromised
By the gains in this world

We our committed to only one
When the hours are late
I as a man ,take my place  beside him
Beside my dog
We both sing to the moon
Why in one day , I lost her trust
I lost her love ?

So I go and  sit beside him
To howl at the moon
Voices transcending
Translated  to time
We wait for love
A touch  , A simple  approval
This question compromised
In a song to the moon

Great title, all around good poem Trust is hard to regain once its lost. Waiting by the door with the dog howling at the moon is a great image. My favorite part. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara
