Travels Of Anxiety

 A shadow
lies  dormant
over earth

It's grays
sweat
in anxiety

the mists
around
it's sphere

fall
with a wilting
smell of mold

raining tears
of salt
lost to the

 monuments
of our past
as creations

of palingenesis
surround
traveling with

 an unrevealing
 tenseness
unknown destiny

Mantiscepter...

Such an interesting choice for your pen-name. I see you've been here for a while, but this is the first time I have taken the time to read one of your posts... so I read through most of what you've posted. There seems to be a distortion, disjointed style to your writing, your poems are hard to follow, one is left wondering what it means. All poetry doesn't have to mean something, some of it is pretty, some just sounds good, like in songs... This poem here, you seem to be acquainting "anxiety" as being its own entity, if so, then perhaps "dormant" wasn't the right word choice... or maybe I'm way off. I also noticed that several people have left some good suggestions on your work... and you haven't even bothered to thank them... there will always be some we miss, but it seems you have missed them all. I do hope to hear from you... this is an interactive workshop, jump in and offer your own critiques on other poets works... you will benefit in your own as well. Richard

thanx for viewing, and

thanx for viewing, and leaving your comments Richard, I don't know a lot about computers,I'm four months old/ and all this is new to me,I did not realize I needed to reply to the positive or negative comments that we're added to this site, and Im not shallow, nor do I think I'm the best at what I do. I stepped back and looked at the page after your letter, and figured out how to reply; and I thank you for pointing this out to me. As far as my Poetry: this is what I( LIKE ) people like your- self to question the meaning, and to form their own resolve!. I've heard one poem expressed in many ways; each person sure of it's meaning. each word used posed,or presented: for comment ( anxiety ) its some-thing to scrutinize or wonder if the place it holds is correct:or what is the writer trying to say. If you read my profile, you would know I have no schooling, no training, I just started writing one day. Why I'll never know!. I have never read a book in my life never, have I read any poetry . so what I write comes from each day ,week, year. Its not that I don't want to interact, I don"t want to lose the little I have. Do you understand? ( mantiscepter )
