Twilight

As day darkens shadows creep
fall beneath , the moon arrives
as my twilight dies .
Creatures of  the night take flight
out of sight .

Footsteps, stumbling some one
mumbling, what hides in this
darkened path i walk,
Street lights wandering on a
string of torched light .
Dogs bark as i take the final exit
to where i will fall to my slumber
until this hidden world beckons .

Ziggy

The title is okay. The pacing is good. And I loved the subject matter, it is right up my alley, so to speak. I only wish that there were more of it! My favorite lines: Footsteps, stumbling some one mumbling, what hides in this darkened path i walk, Always, Cat
