slip

When I kiss your shoulders,
where twin black straps run
across and down,
beneath the blue
against the white.

I drift, my heart and I
upon your sighs,
to float
while the earth falls lost

and shimmer slips
these curves descending,
melded by hands
and sweet intent.

My journey takes me
to your lips,
this endless moment
this caress.

Sigh!

Craig, you take us ladies on journeys we've always wanted to go on... Thank you for being so exquisitely expressive! You have one lucky muse you succumb to! Cheers Boni

U make a great poet lover, u DO make them want to make the trip

Made me smile, this is your forte Craig, you make a great poet lover, indeed you make them want to make the trip! Hope all is wonderful, sounds like you are suitably inspired, glad to hear it if so. I've missed your writing. Cheers Anni~ ` "Those who dwell among the beauties & mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life" ~ Rachel Carson Writer/conservationist
