Think this is a nice piece

Think this is a nice piece of writing..this is the one thing I love the most of writing is that it allows me to express what I long so deeply to say but my voice will not speak.. I always believe that a ~true friend~ not only runs in the sun with you but shields you in darkness of night..

A True Friend

Sweet Spirit - Welcome to the Neopoet family I can tell you that I can count my friends on one hand - and only one true friend. I know that they would probably say the same about me. Because for them of course - I am there no matter what. I do not need a reason. No questions asked. Just am. This poem was written thinking of my friend. Oh what do you say ! This was what followed. My best friend passed on

My best friend passed on earlier this year I will always miss her .... I used to say to her and her me 'let me be your light in the dark when all other lights go out' ... we went to a movie once and it became our personal mantra ... When things got tough a text or a call and we'd end our call with those words they are sappy and mushy but she was my other half ... the one that could tell just by looking at me what sort of day I was having ... A True Friend

Jayne I can say with my friend I tell them straight and true They know what my fragile heart feels They know that my love is real but oh so blue My heart has been broken a few times I do not know if it can ever mend but it is worth trying to pick up the pieces of my broken heart that was left on the floor Maybe it can be put back together again It would not take long for my heart to melt as it did before and pick my heart up off of the floor I am sorry about your loss my dear friend but they will always be with you they will let you know they are near and you will know and it will make you smile Electric blue
