Your tears

do not cry
little lamb
for you are not
the only
weirdo that
could not be
loved
do not cry
for nobody knows
your time
and times
as I do
I only wish
that you may
not despise
the hand
that nurtured
your parents
tender
misfortunes
one day
please
understand
this you will
rise again
as a phoenix
and know
for sure that
those who question
your tears
are already
a thing
of the past

Hello

I could relate to this piece for in my younger days I was that unloved little weirdo (hippy child.) I think this poem is very deep. Keep writing. Always, Cat

Thank you for the encouragement. We are all kind of weirdo, and sick and brokenhearted. That's why we are on this earth, I believe. As Vincent Van Gogh said to his brother: "Theo, one of the purposes of life is that we may learn to suffer without complaints."

Dearest Hugo...

A little voice spoke to me today, saying: Go visit Hugo... And here I am... I'm so glad I listened! This is so beautiful... Like a soft caress to my heart. A soothing melody... Thank you... Gentle regards, Raven

Thank you for your visit, and as always unexpected visits are the best we can get, especially if they are as welcomed as yours. Your words are really amiable, and I feel like if I had been given a precious gift. Thanks for being so in tune with the little voice, I really appreciate it. Your good friend, Hugo
