Bubbles in the Moonlight/Peace be the Silent Grace (from chat
Bubbles in the Moonlight
We walked hand in hand
down that secluded lane
She spoke softly to me
her heart filled with pain
She cried soft silent tears
and spoke her rehearsed lines
I could only believe her
at least for that first time
A tale of sorrow and woe
painted her picture of fear
Crying on my shoulder
she spoke of our past year
Pain tore at my heart
As I held her underwater
The unfaithful moments cleansed
I slowly watched her breath falter
and watched bubbles in the moonlight
Peace Be the Silent Grace
And the storm broke
by the sea of winds
With lightning dancing
like madmen
Across the battered waves
Strong men quivered
brave men cried
and the fish ran to land
Rain like a solid wall
pounded upon the shore
Animals bolted for higher ground
Angry skies thundered their rage
While wind ripped apart the sand
Then the swells died
The sea grew calm
And the sun came shining through
Birds sang from the trees again
and the thunder and lightning stilled
Peace be the silent grace
as nature begins to heal
We walked hand in hand
down that secluded lane
She spoke softly to me
her heart filled with pain
She cried soft silent tears
and spoke her rehearsed lines
I could only believe her
at least for that first time
A tale of sorrow and woe
painted her picture of fear
Crying on my shoulder
she spoke of our past year
Pain tore at my heart
As I held her underwater
The unfaithful moments cleansed
I slowly watched her breath falter
and watched bubbles in the moonlight
Peace Be the Silent Grace
And the storm broke
by the sea of winds
With lightning dancing
like madmen
Across the battered waves
Strong men quivered
brave men cried
and the fish ran to land
Rain like a solid wall
pounded upon the shore
Animals bolted for higher ground
Angry skies thundered their rage
While wind ripped apart the sand

And the sun came shining through
Birds sang from the trees again
and the thunder and lightning stilled
Peace be the silent grace
as nature begins to heal
