Bubbles in the Moonlight/Peace be the Silent Grace (from chat

Bubbles in the Moonlight

We walked hand in hand
down that secluded lane
She spoke softly to me
her heart filled with pain

She cried soft silent tears
and spoke her rehearsed lines
I could only believe her
at least for that first time

A tale of sorrow and woe
painted her picture of fear
Crying on my shoulder
she spoke of our past year

Pain tore at my heart
As I held her underwater
The unfaithful moments cleansed
I slowly watched her breath falter
and watched bubbles in the moonlight

Peace Be the Silent Grace

And the storm broke
by the sea of winds
With lightning dancing
like madmen
Across the battered waves
Strong men quivered
brave men cried
and the fish ran to land
Rain like a solid wall
pounded upon the shore
Animals bolted for higher ground
Angry skies thundered their rage
While wind ripped apart the sand

Then the swells died
The sea grew calm
And the sun came shining through
Birds sang from the trees again
and the thunder and lightning stilled
Peace be the silent grace
as nature begins to heal

Peace be the Silent Grace

Hey Rett This is a very vivid piece. I love the visions my mind saw. It may be odd to some but I like a heavy rain sometimes. It seems to emphasize the calm that follows. Dana

Thanks Dana

I do too. How have you been doing? Been so busy I haven't been able to touch base with you in a while. Respectfully, Rett: "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. " Winston Churchill

Thanks for the read kelsey

The at least for that first time is meant to imply she has lied before as in being unfaithful. A common error that most people make is lightening/lightning.. lightening is a brightening of something or to make it fade, lightning is an atmospheric electrical discharge. I had a blast on chat. I liked these inspirations

I liked these inspirations Paw, very entertaining. On the first I felt is was unfinished, this is how I envisioned wrapping it up, hope you don't mind. Starring up at me in shock losing her wilted fight. Her last breath now faded mere bubbles in the moon light... The random last line just didn't work for me, so I made it a verse. Using abcb like you did for the others. D.D.
