Long distance

Seeing all my boys together,

Robbie, Guy, and Spencer.... in that order.

It was magic, and the most unflattering picture

Of me, I have ever seen.

Mouth hanging open, like a dolt!

Brain racing, trying to believe it true.

A kalideoscope of freeze-framed pictures.

Splicing them all together, to make a herky-jerky film.

Chronicaling the long road to this day,

And the joy brought by sister siblings.

The greatest joke ever played on this Guy.

Unaware of such vast conspiracy,

Spread through famial contact,

I fell for the punch line like a ton of bricks!

Poor Mark, played his part so well.

It was Orgami....

It was Orgami who inspired me with his poem about his daughter's visit. I got to thinking about how good it is to see your long-lost children, and there you have it! It was a thing I had privately enjoyed, then only thought to make it public and a poem after I read Org's work. Thanx Orgami! L & Hugz, Gee.
