Soft Watered Valleys

 Stemmed:
in life's horizons
we leaf from newborn days
turning seeds of morning
these fields upon we lay.

Melon's ripened sweetness
leads fresh the searchers dream
love in swarms  ebb from days
we forge yes fold to knead.

Leaving paths of honeyed tarts,
tears fallen from life's past start,

joining breeze a release in time
share in visions melancholy
hang as  grapes to vine

in fields a freshness reigning,
a flow to mountain's peaked
feeding soft watered valleys
passing days endless weeks

time does sprinkle softly it's rain
 that falling  breaks so lightly
touching within loves refrain

so Lay sweet this earth
before my eyes
as stained glass beauty
colored, passing by

Turn all your pages
tell your weathered tale
to ears I'll listen
Blessed is autumn's veil
