Trust felt no more

Trust is such, that once brokenIs irreparable in many waysFor this commodity will need to be earned backThis time however, it is not possible A trust that freely givenIs attached to a love that is truly feltBe it the love for a mother, or sisterA lover or one once called friend This trust was taken, and shatteredWith the worst of intentionsThe cruelest of possible resultsThe near damming destruction that could result Is of such proportions that not only one lifeWill be ripped apart and brutally alteredThere will be a lot more lives affected byYour thoughtless need for revenge to speak you mind Be that as it mayKnow that trust is no moreYou have of your own accord slammed thatOnce very accessible door Go forth now, and reap what you have sewnFor you may there be some form of salvationFrom the sequence of havoc you have now set in motion

To my way

of thinking, this reads more like a letter or a diary entry, than a poem. I could be wrong of course. I notice that you didn't set up for any kind of feedback at the bottom of the poem, (please pardon my asking, but) does this mean that you don't want any? Here is some anyway, I thought the piece was interesting and trust is a subject that takes high priority in my mind. Always, Cat

Hi Cat

Yes i did want feedback here, always forget to tick those little critters..... This was written in resepct of a specifc group of "friends" that let one down, there only when they need something, yet when that need and understanding is needed in return, they are nowhere to be found other than in a circle to which they can discuss the subject at hand's "downfall and many faults" Thank you for the read and the feedback, and yes trust is a high priority for many, however once broke, not easy to gain back, not with me anyways. Take care. Yours in Script Jill Mistakes happen, do not dwell on them, live them, mourn them and move on to better things. (PS: if that does not work eat lots and lots of chocolate)
