A Rose From Our Garden
A Rose From Our Garden
Like a rose from our garden
And stars behind dark clouds
Her presence will be missed
Her hearty laughter her precious smile
We’ll always remember
Etched forever in our heart
Just as rainfalls on tin rooftops
And sunsets behind rainclouds
The tears we shed fill skin bottles
A wife, a mother, a grandmother,
A sister, an aunt, and a cousin
Her smile is what we’ll frame
One day we’ll see her again
Healthy, giving a helping hand in a better world
Where sickness and death cease to exist
Like a rose from our garden
And stars behind dark clouds
Her presence will be missed
Her hearty laughter her precious smile
We’ll always remember
Etched forever in our heart
Just as rainfalls on tin rooftops
And sunsets behind rainclouds
The tears we shed fill skin bottles
A wife, a mother, a grandmother,
A sister, an aunt, and a cousin
Her smile is what we’ll frame
One day we’ll see her again
Healthy, giving a helping hand in a better world
Where sickness and death cease to exist
