"Dialogue"

It is communication
Of some sort
It is one statement
Followed by a retort

Dialogue is short
And sometimes long
Dialogue is even present
In the lyrics of a song

Dialogue brings together
It also sets apart
Dialogue is spoken in many languages
Dialogue is an art

It can come to a head
Or even just really begin
Dialogue for this poem
Has now come to an END.

"Dialogue"

Your suggestion for deleting the 'And' is great! I see how it delivers a smoother flow. Thanks! In regards to the Darius Rucker comment, I normally get Grant Hill,Steve Smith, and most recently Boris Kodjoe. I do see the resemblance. It's just me.Lol!

I agree with kelsey

Chappell, Kelsey has something there. I would also like to offer a suggestion here. Dialogue is spoken in many languages (Spoken in many Languages) I like this poem. it is really neat and different. Respectfully, Rett: "At twenty, if you are not a liberal, you have no heart. At thirty, if you are not a conservative, you have no brain." Winston Churchill

Thanks for your insight Rett! I read your suggestion and like it better than my own entry. Your suggestion is much smoother.
