timona 2

2

When the peaceful stars cloud the skies

And cluster their glittering in a beautiful realm

All attached to the silent moon-light

There will we reign as royalties of the heavenly

Shining distinct as each star apart

Yet together they bind the skies span

With the glistening ray of their omniscient beauty

Timona! The stars have never aged older

As man recedes in gradual to his grave

So never do we share any immortal fate

Of having to glitter in a spectra of romance

Then why do we procrastinate on our duties? ,

Why do we post-date every love remark to be said?

Thinking that our mouth shall hold strength tomorrow

I can swear that dead lovers are meaningless

As each grave disdains the other to its space

I find this very

I find this very truthful: 'Why do we post-date every love remark to be said? Thinking that our mouth shall hold strength tomorrow I can swear that dead lovers are meaningless As each grave disdains the other to its space' I like its call to act now and stop delaying words that should be spoken now; love should not be postponed. I also like: 'So never do we share any immortal fate Of having to glitter in a spectra of romance' I find it interesting to consider that the stars we see in the night sky are already dead; this glittering display is what we see of things already passed. This, linked with your 'dead lovers' makes for interesting reflection. I really enjoyed your poem.
