Man in the World
Man in the World
Well it is good to help in time and
Well to feel others pains and wounds
Well to behave as a man always
Though we may be in the sky or heaven
Render your help and show your mercy
To get His help and mercy
Keep your heart as a temple of love
To place Him there as your guide
Forget your prides and crowns and
Change yourself as a child
There He will be! There He will be!
As your mother and as your playmate
Throw your anger and throw your tears
His hands will be there to wipe in your cheeks
Smile for others and weep for others
Live for others to live as a “Man in the World”

Sakthi, poems written in the second person sound like sermons
