2 small poems

your poem

i hunger

your poems
are rich,
thick,
velvet

mine

sparse,
bereft,
wanton of flesh

~~~~~~~~~~~
 Your poem
  i satiate
 your poems
wealthdense
     mine
   spartan,
    replete,
wont of Muse
shadowland
of the Night Chalice
I drink
ebbing
with the Sea of Darkness
I disappear
in Your embrace
we abide,
we rapture.
~~~~~~~~~~

shadowland, too
of the morn cruet

I imbibe

ebbing
with the Sea of Light

vanish

in embrace
abided, raptured

One of the greatest joys of

One of the greatest joys of a poet is knowing one inspires poetry, thank you, don't forget to keep copies... these poetic replies are sometimes complete, sometimes part and/or parcel of a larger/smaller poem yet-to-be-written. I haven't done so though echoes remain. ;-) ~A "It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err." Mahatma Gandhi

Fuck off

"mine sparse, bereft, wanton of flesh" ? who are you talking about? We all have moments of self doubt but I do not accept this self-deprecation from you. One of our finest in love, spirituality and truth. Much love, Jess

Well, fuck off to you too,

Well, fuck off to you too, (did you know that's really a wondrous thing to say?) nothing better than that activity even if poetry, a healthy shit, a great meal, a good laugh come close. ;-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D7rWLzloOI Strange Consequences... Now, about the poem. My poems seem to be less and less and I often miss the desire/ability to create romantic odes. And I love you too, fuck you. ~A "It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err." Mahatma Gandhi

Me and the other cave trolls are of one mind regarding your work. It must be really easy for you, after all nobody could write like this without using some kind of magyck. Lost in admiration Love Ian T
