GOODBYE MICHAEL
From the time you were small
The entire world knew
That you were a star
And that star only grew
You shone above all
Not a soul could compare
No one could out do you
No one would dare
When you took the stage
You had the world at your feet
You were the holder of victory
Not a man of defeat
Oh yes, you were wonderful
Your star lit the sky
I cant accept that you left us
I cant even try
People tried to crush you
And bring shame to your name
Bitter of your glory
Jealous of your fame
But you were a kind gentle soul
And we loved you so
In our hearts you live forever
We wont let you go
You critics can say want they want
Because i know one thing
In the hearts of your fans
You will forever be king
The entire world knew
That you were a star
And that star only grew
You shone above all
Not a soul could compare
No one could out do you
No one would dare
When you took the stage
You had the world at your feet
You were the holder of victory
Not a man of defeat
Oh yes, you were wonderful
Your star lit the sky
I cant accept that you left us
I cant even try
People tried to crush you
And bring shame to your name
Bitter of your glory
Jealous of your fame
But you were a kind gentle soul
And we loved you so
In our hearts you live forever
We wont let you go
You critics can say want they want
Because i know one thing
In the hearts of your fans
You will forever be king
