DENOUEMENT *

I was felled by just a look -my token of timberrolled down hills of desireto your nearest embankment... Stored in your warehouse of contemplation                the denuded logs lie waiting.... As in the hands of a carpenter's creation  craft  meinto the scaffolds of your deft imagination...

I must say...

I really like everything about this poem, the symbolism was captivating. Loved the imagery and the energy of this piece! Congrats, you've got a real peach, here! Always, Cat p.s. I also like that you gave us the meaning of the title at the end.

Smashing this one is

To say it in a banal manner, but wow what a title and what a way of admitting it. Splendid stuff , oh my, that sounds a bit old fashioned but I am not au fait with the jargon of criticism as i do not read much about it either so have to use some old thoughts, this was super. I loved it. isn't that good enough? Shiver mi timbers! from Ann of Norway

Ah Ann! How nice! Nothing you ever say could be construed as banal! Loved your little quip about "shiver mi timbers!" Chuckled at that! Thank you for your words! Always much appreciated! Bonita j

Bonita,

as near to perfection as it gets. Loved the imagery here, you wrap wood, trees, persons, life, death, desire, love into a smashing piece. Hope to see this in spotlight soon! Yours, ~Nina

Boni...

excellently written, I was thinking I had already left a comment here but see I haven't... makes me want to get my hammer out...lol you don't know it, but I love working with wood... have done quite a bit of it on side jobs during my life... really enjoyed this read Boni, scaffolds was really a good choice, for many still build them on each job, and they hold the man's life in air.
