THE SWEET CHEAT'S GONE (title from Proust)

The sweet cheat's gone He's  run awayI cannot hold on for another daywhy is this the unvanquished onethe moving stars,  the rising sun? Winning him back into my armsI have depleted all of my charmsI would have him be more than I amI would give him my life, my soul as planned. This disparity of lovespeaks more of despairit tells of two -one of whom doesn't care This inequality of lovespeaks nary* of fairit hints at  pathology's overwhelming needsa will that beckons,
 a heart that bleeds....
