Lovely Linda

The Lady Linda's smile
"pure", all the while,
but, dots from someone's eyes;

growing from the mud
evolving to a bud,
just wait, 'til the petal dries,
just wait 'til the petal dries.

Lady Linda's ink
more than you'd think,
would decorate legs and arms;

but, from her feet
to her neck, so sweet;
she displays her perfect charms,
she displays her perfect charms.

Lady Linda shares
enjoying stares,
as our eyes applaud what's drawn;

she wears ink, well
or can't you tell,
in the "twilight", she's the "dawn",
in the "twilight", she's the "dawn".

Don't miss a chance
to catch a glance,
of  "loveliness intact";

I now have worth
seeing on this Earth,
"perfection", as a matter of fact,
"perfection", as a matter of fact.

To get this close
is a lethal dose,
from a "Lovely, Beauty Rare";

nothing can erase
that "angelic" face,
of Lovely Linda, beauty fair,
Lovely Linda, beauty fair.

Hello

I'm probably wrong, but I got the impression that the lovely lady Linda is an ink sketch and she imortalizes the artist, too. The theme does appeal to me, as I precieve it to be touching beauty from a distance. Even if I'm wrong, I found your poem to be a treasure. It reminds me of William Blake. Always, Cat

It WAS....

...a beauty to be witnessed from afar. How very astute of you. Thank-you for your kindly words. Actually, I was speaking of a lady wearing tatoos...that kind of "complete" this woman. "Write On" ! docmaverick.
