Even sleeping
an aura
burns in rest
slow inhalations
felt warming blood
nearness overwhelms
wicked sensed eyes open
universes traveling
discovered secrets
lay bare
wonderment known
blazed awareness
preceding sleep
stealing my heart away
to dream

Thank you so much your gorgeous you know that ? .... this ones about hubby and a moment we had in the middle of the night he just opened his sleepy eyes but it was just this look, cant describe it really lol ... I will probably never see it again but it was worth all the nights I stay up writing and making music ... Much Love Jayne (hug)

Forgive the stringed

Forgive the stringed instruments...cello, harp and violin, which by necessity are compelled to fill the backround of our minds as we drift with painless disregard of the world around us to your lullaby. I also sense a faintness of a subtle sensuality in this poem that often occurs unreasonably fleeting between wake and sleep. ...the very nature of your wording renders the alert, drowsey, and perhaps a bit aroused. nicely done PINT

I like this.

Hi Seren I really like this but don't really have the words or capacity to explain why. It reads like a hypnotic induction (this is a good thing) and feels like a splinter in my mind pulling me into the vivid imagery if your writing. Nice work. Peace

I am starting to think maybe I was a witch in another life people keep saying that some of my poems draw them in or sound like incantations though they arent writen with that in mind,I am honored people say that It meens I am getting my readers drawn into the piece and thats the intention,to forget the world around and sink into the emotions and images I try to paint into my words ...
