the time to repair a roof

the time to repair a roof
is when the sun is shining

so when is a poem a poem?
is a poem manifested
in the order of the words
and how they form a line
and where the line breaks?
where the punctuations are,
if 'i' is capitalized or not,

do poems make you feel
something you would rather not,
and so dismiss the poet
as unworthy of your time and
inclination,
(infatuation is an ugly word
sometimes),
does a poem come with a sense
of self-value,
does it have to rhyme, and why
should it, or not?

when a poem is a poem,
it brings the house down,
raises the roof to let
the sunshine in.

Mmmmm... Kailashana... I Thank you...

You are Dancing in my Heart! And your steps are so beautiful... I have been thinking these thoughts. Wondering and wandering... Ravenshakti " Why should I despair while your presence between these walls still falls on me, gently, as moonlight on a seat beside the window." - Rainer Maria Rilke
