I Don't Like Religions

I don't like religionsAnd all they that createNot a refuge for the goodBut for the ones who hate They just put up wallsAnd so many barriersThey don't just christen babiesBut also aircraft carriers  Why do we need religionsTo make us feel good? Why can't we just use our brainsAnd do the things we should? I know most need religionsBecause they lack the willBut why oh why I plead and cryDo they make us kill?

Some thoughts on your work

Though it may be unpopular to say so, I like the content of your work. It is honest and meaningful. Truth is, there is but one God; one creator, so why fight over his/her name? If the world banded together, chosing to bring peace instead of war over religious beliefs, it would be wonderful. Think you are brave to say what most really feel but won't state. Peace, Mmarie

Thank-you!

Thank you Marie, I am glad that you liked it. I just feel like religions put up walls between people when they don't need to be there. They make us argue over meaningless differences. I wish that more people could see that. Sincerely, Michael
