The Summer Sunrise

The summer sunrise,
beautifully pink and blue,
white clouds stretching across the sky,
grass still wet with dew.
Will have you gazing for an hour,
might even see a mist shower.
The beauty of earth,
is everything you need,
just look at the sky,
at the beautuful sunrise,
it welcomes and calms you.
Blooms like a rose into a better mood,
and you know you can thank,
the summer sunrise,
on a wonderful morning full of light.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Adriiiiiiiiiiii

Hey again, I'm slowly catching up on your work here. This is just a stunning poem, I just love sunrises, though I'm much like Kelsey, not up early enough to see them. But I remember when I'd have to be up early, for school or work, and the sun would be peeking colorfully over the prairie horizon. Always a sight to see. I love sunsets too, they're quite colorful. And all I can correct really, is beautuful=beautiful. Otherwise another well written one, keep it up. Peace n love Katie

I seldom miss a sunrise

but never wake up for one. You know what I mean. This poem is lovely, and ingenuous (look it up, lazy thing) I've got to say though that in this case I think it is because you are young I like it. If an adult wrote it I would be more critical. Not that there is anything wrong with it, it is a "stage" poem, something you have to write before moving on. And truly you wrote it better than most experienced poets could. I think you are going to be really [expletive deleted] good. Cheers, Jess
