Poet-tree
I had a tree
And my tree dropped a seed
When I peeled off the husk
It seemed to be....
I planted the seed
And it began to grow
With twigs and blossoms
And what do you know
The tree was me.
So tree and I
(We both are one)
We drink in the rain
We impound the sun
We cast long shadows
Across the earth
And drop more seeds
For our rebirth.
We blossom together
As good friends should
And grow complete
To our true selfhood.
