Poet-tree

I had a tree

And my tree dropped a seed

When I peeled off the husk

It seemed to be....

I planted the seed

And it began to grow

With twigs and blossoms

And what do you know

The tree was me.

So tree and I

(We both are one)

We drink in the rain

We impound the sun

We cast long shadows

Across the earth

And drop more seeds

For our rebirth.

We blossom together

As good friends should

And grow complete

To our true selfhood.

Celadon...

I like the idea of the poem but felt there were a couple of spots where it needed something... I peeled off the husk and saw it was me... felt this could be more in line with your image with something like... and it seemed part of me... and to me the last line is long... I don't have any suggestions for a title right now, but if I come up with any will be glad to offer them... Richard
