The wandering clouds (For Anni, who graces us with her kind and passionate presence and her wonderful Odes)

The wandering clouds gather
To form a sailing ship
The journey begins

The cloud ship sails swiftly
Past giants, dragons, mermaids
Woolly lambs and fluttering fairies

Beauty its final destination
Imagination its motivation

Who is that woman
Cloaked in clouds of warm summer rain
Who firmly holds the steering wheel?

Is that a lyre hanging from her shoulder
And have you noticed the tips of wings
Underneath her cloudy cloak?

It is the queen of clouds
In human disguise

Beautiful... my joy a cloud poem & a joyous woderland of imagery

Oh Nina, Nina, you are all determined to make me weep today! Beautiful... my joy a cloud poem & a joyous woderland of imagery... Yummmmm I adore it & you through it... I must race, I am flying to my love tonight 3 hours away & it is nearly 11pm, we were to have our first weekend apart since we met, but I am happy to slip into the late evening... alas I have to leave Neo behind, but this lovely poem the last to reach me after your lovely comment has warmed me & given me even more lovely wings than the prospect of snuggling into the arms of my love to hear spanish poems from his lovely lips... Now that says something... I want to thank you for this gift, knowing it is not for me alone of course but a joy for any who read it... I will read again on my return, it is the loveliest to take with me for 3 hour of solitary driving. Finally a revisit to this so sweet of gifts, I want to send you a cloudy kiss, but you might get wet! I see your lovely paintings are back, love them. I would love to get a lyre you know... (love to get lots of instruments really), I had a harp for some time, delicious. Nina, Love the imagery which seems so real as I look out of the window and see a large trail of dark rain clouds moving to an unknown destination! What a wonderful way to celebrate Anni's presence! Cheers Tania

You honour our Anni beautifully, she always takes me sailing and flying when I read her, such journeys of the cloud heart are always a pleasure :) You dear poetess do our sister much justice :) I'm so fond of you both :) Now.. I suspect I can on only ascend because I have had so much heavy

Hey you 2 goreous ones, you know at the risk of destroying these lovely images you create of me (sigh!) I suspect I can on only ascend because I have had so much heavy crap in my life, when I am not so weighed by it the comparison makes me feel lighter than air.... Just having a chuckle at myself here!!! In truth, you know you are kindred with me on this, you are both (& others here too) such warm, courageous & wonderful elements in this world... I think it is our own blessing to keep such company... by the way been travelling with you both on Beki's recent work, yes ouchy & we are so with you honey, I agree, it's been so many years (& I hope I have found the "right" one recently). Our little ones need us, we sacrifice so much for them without a single regret... but just a reminder... they need us to be whole & complete & as happy as possible... that was always one of my biggest incentives to finding good & true love.. I know I am happiest when loving & being loved, I bet there is a little of that in you 2 as well... Anyway... good excuse to read this lovely work again Nina, thank you so much lovely one, it is such a joy... The kids characature me regularly "Oh! look at the clouds", I am constantly astounded at their beauty & wonder, never wears off or becomes habitual... bit like the Neo works here huh Much love & warmth & thanks for your companionship & warmth here xxx Anni We dont believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. There are a few of us who are a lot less earth bound than we use

My point exactly & as I said, I suspect there are a few of us who are a lot less earth bound than we might have been... phew, thank goodness. & thank you Nina, I hope the same thing, though the lightness must be mine, the thing that has been missing is the matching weightlessness... I seemed to either get attached to another who had no interest in a secure, warm connection or one who wanted the tether so bound there was no lift possible... but this one seems to be in sync in most ways, loads more than what I've been used to anyway... Waited a long time though for this one. Hope very much you don't have to wait nearly as long dear Nina.
