Moon Dance At Lost Lake
Moon Dance At Lost Lake
In a hidden valley far below
A golden lake by moonlights glow
The wooded hillside does confide
A silver brook
Tucked in its side
Quietly the night
While bathed in eerie light
Lends silhouette as the faeries dance
In glades and meadows their
Midnight prance
Neer seen by errant intruders glance
Except the prowling deer (by chance)
Misty curtains cloak the lake
Where fireflies tease the trout to take
Their meals from silver rings and wake
While serenaded nightly
The stars gather brightly
Listening to an esoteric tune
Provided by the lost lake loon........
