Loss

Insanity is a gameA forged path
Taboo rituals
Incantations...

Forgive me if I offend,
But you don't know after all.
You reek of abandonment;
Fear of institution

Run away, crawl through the gutter.
Mud mixed with blood.Topics rather unthought of.
Disgust doesn't begin to cover it.

Grotesque hopes,
Filthy dreams,
Night sweats,
Retching screams.

The crowds pressing forward
While you're begging to go back.
Fighting the waves of wysteria,
Kudzu covers everything.

You've lost it.

Hey Ky

Well, girl, you never cease to amaze me. This is quite powerful, especially with the blunt ending "You've lost it." You've got me pretty dang speechless here....all I can say is another fantastic job. Peace love n hugs Katie

Kya

My Goodness, I loved this one Kya and the ending is terrific. I've lots of experience with Kudzu and it can grow up to a foot a day. I loved the way you wove that into your overall meaning. Well done. Respectfully, Rett: "God made an idiot for practice, then he made a school board." Mark Twain For the sake of children, read this. http://www.neopoet.com/node/19905
