The Actress

I moved my perfume
I moved my favorite pillow
I moved my journal
Into another room.

While....................................

You shred her pictures
You broke your memories
You moved your emotions
Of her into another world.

Words that are only whispered
When the room is dark
While you close your eyes in pain.
Tears you do not see, in agony again.

I can no longer pretend
That there is not an end.
I'll dream of our mornings,
While you strummed your guitar
And I wrote my words.

A new beginning to an old end
a new promise I believed in again.

Thanks

I still feel it needs some fine tuning. To love is painful, at times and I tried to capture a woman moving her prized things into another room, while her lover still mourns the loss of another. In away, she moves herself away. Thanks for the nice comment. Dina
