Chappell (2009)

When I die, just wipe your tears
I'm in a better place now
No need to fear
My body now buried
Along with others from the past
Yet my spirit forever lives on
Through loved ones, just ask!
Though of course not mentioned everyday
It feels good to look down
And hear ya'll say,

"How I miss that brother!"
"That friend of mine, YOU Know"
"I'll never forget the fist time I met him"
The first time he said, "GO!"
You see, he was always thinking of others
And not of himself
Sort of like a Christmas stocking
On the kitchen shelf
Full of many surprises
For those ready to receive
The prophecies he spoke through HIS lips
Some people couldn't believe
Though most were right on
And others were way off
He kept it real with them ALL
By touching them with such soft
Words of encouragement
Motivation for their soul
Helping others keep "THE FAITH"
Stopping them from growing cold

Now let me say to those I love
And truly do, hold dear
When I die, say your peace
Order a pizza and go buy yourself a beer
Keep on living, take a moment
Breathe in and take a breath
Live life to the fullest
Don't stop living
Until you meet your death
