Suppression

A dark mind ensues
when shielded from the light
a fiendish gleam
and vivid beam
so relished when in sight
suppression of its forces
obligingly retains
yet still inside
its presence writhes
until dominance it gains
upon its unleashing
exquisite releasing
until mercifully ceasing
leaving only its remains
