The End of Kung Fu

It used to be my favorite showHe always beat the bad guyHe triumphed over evilInner peace always defeated chaos
It always ended with a moral A key to the path of righteousnessA light to the road of solitudeI always wanted to be like him  Today they found him in a hotel roomHe was hanging by his neck in a closetNaked, he was found by the maid

Once he was a big starIn the twilight of  his yearsPerhaps that wasn't enoughIt's tough to be a has-beenBut that's more than most can say
Life is not about the destinationIt's how you get there  that countsThat's what the show was all aboutHe never learned that lesson
I guess that's why they call it acting

Another rumor

has it that a note from a friend of Carradine was found with the body. The note was signed by an unknown "po," of whom police have discovered nothing. On that note was only the cryptic line “Just hold your breath, Grasshoppa”

Are you referring to the sex game rumor?

I heard the rumor about the sex game. I read the rumor after I wrote this poem. It has really left me depressed and disillusioned. I mean I think someone needs to be really stupid to accidently kill themselves trying to get off. I was under the impression that he actually studied Buddhism and Eastern philosophy. One would think that he could find some more enjoyable and productive way to pass the time. What a way to go, and what a terrible waste of human life!
