MOTHER EARTH

She will love us
Forever , with
Endless wonder

Dose mankind see
The way a bird can fly
In a second
He drives into the seas

With grace , surreptitious
swimming
Are the fish
That he needs

They to can fly
The willingness to live
Leaping out of the seas
Into the sky

This mother in earth
Even has shown
Man the tallest of trees
A hundred years
They will live
But a flower will die
As a seed

But earth gave that seed
Morphogenesis of ;life
Next summer it will live
Without a reason why

Dose the earth cry
When mankind
Through s his waist
Chemical that are not natural
Poising the fish and the birds
That fly

Mankind will dig’s into the earth
This is her body
Extracting , compacting
All of her minerals
for money ,
shame of hope

Mankind will drill into the seas
Searching for dead dinosaur
The oil turned into gas
In our cars it will turn
Air hard to breath

Hey press,

I remember this poem from when you shared it in chat, I was quite surprised to find it as I was whipping through the Lonely poems!!! I actually like it, I feel it had a very important message about Mother Earth and how we should take care of her. She is our only Mother Earth after all, let's nurture her like she nurtures us. "That means...that the flower is your brother..." Patrick Moore, Greenpeace, 1971. And trees are for hugging. Just the hippie in me. hehe. MOTHER EARTH

Hey Katie thanks 4 the love. NEOPOET always has been my home . It just took me fourth plus years to find it. In truth I am just following god calling as U know my grammar always gives me away so Rett told me this Dad said that [ sometimes people will have a hard time with grammar but are probably good in math and science and that is so true in my case . So let me tell you what I am starting to see. Mathematical equations in my poetry to make my poems flow better from line to line. This is what I see ? even tho a poem is written in words , those words are made by sounds and tones. This is were the math comes into the flow [ NOW I KNOW THAT ALL POETRY DOSE NOT HAVE TO RHYME ]But Mathematical equation of a song in words in my poetry is my style So Katie I am very impressed with you [ THE WAY YOU HANDLE THE CHAT ROOM IS LIKE A POLITICIAN . Dad's always right...

Well, press, all I can say is just do what Dad says cause I have never heard him be wrong. I guess that's one of the reasons we respect him so much. Now, the mathematics of poetry is new to even me, as I'm more of a free verse type poet myself...but then I'm not big on rhyme either, it really takes talent and patience. And I appreciate your compliment on how I handle the chat room. It's my job to ensure things are under control in the chat room, and I'm glad I can do it well. I always try my best.
