That cup of coffee

That cup of coffee

Black , sweet and strong
That  first cup of life
My lips has called

That  first taste
Was all it will take
To look deeper
Into my luck
Will it be easier
For me to day

After a sip or two
I had to wonder
How many problems
In this day
Could I honor

What is first’s
On my list
Compared to the bills
I  dare not miss

So with  a foolish  try
I ask this cup of coffee
To lie
Maybe one more sip
Please tell me why
 I am left with less
The more I try

Why am I
talking to cup of coffee
That I made foolishly
It can not talk
Or solve problem
A course it will lie

Don't talk to coffee

This is very good and flows well, the theme is fun and the thinking behind it is serious, I can't find fault with it so will leave that to the experts in poetry.. This is a far reach from the earlier poems that you wropte for us, So I will say great and mark accordingly, Yours Ian.T
