Chosen leaf,

Chosen leaf, Laugh it up so I can smack you downkeep tossin' ammo full of crap aroundit's time we settle this you fucking clownyour choice name, when I stand my ground. I dare you to choke out your amendsthen I'll slam the door on you yet again.Your as full as shit as you're depends.Wishing to be smug for all your friends. Yes I may be have a just a touch of OCDand I am social reject from all of society. With a little devil trapped and almost crazyscreaming to be set lose and rampage free. But if you really think that I might give a fuckthat you are down on your sad sorry ass luckwhile tryin' to give a reason to pass the buckI will be happy to tell you what you can suck. But then again if you choose to turn a new leafand prove it was worth all of the past grief.I may possibly reconsider my original beleif, realizing that the end result was worth it to me. Julie D.D. 5/23/2009

Julie...

Never ever piss off a poet... You'll find yourself scrutinized, euthanized, left wordless for all to see... remind me not to get on your bad side...lol enjoyed your moment of anger, turned hopeful in the end... well done Julie... Richard

First impression "rock it" Julie

Before I reread it I have to immediately say this was a real romp in the world of romp! "Laugh it up so I can smack you down" there I was eating my breakfast, the sun shining outside on the view and suddenly you slap me straight into this poem and I loved it. Even the 'f' words fitted here, you devilishly 'naughty' Julie, this sounds like old fashioned language from me but its fun too, n'est pas? Yours with thanks for the most wonderful comment on my latest poem heart beats for others. Your too are a dear person among us. Yours Ann of Norway with love.

Dear Julie,

What I like about this poem is that you let yourself be seen. I don't think you are only angry, feisty and knowledgeable about curses, but you let these things, which are normally all zipped away, be seen. If you can let them be seen, maybe it is alright for someone else to let them be seen. So you become a leader. Then maybe poems can be about real life, much as this poem of yours is. When I last commented on a poem, I said that I didn't think I had permission to know you. Here you have unveiled a bit, and that is always a scary task. Well done! Poetry is powerful when the sharing is important and the language is somehow inspiring. I think you are closer to these virtues than when we last communicated. Regards, Brian P.S. The other day, I read the whole of your blog concerning the shooting in your neighbourhood. Something held my attention.
