Stranger Times

Strange days
and even stranger nights

with even strangers at my door,

and the way they steal
really makes me reel

I guess it proves they're really poor;

and what I see
really irks my soul,

guess one could say I've been to "school",

Because what I've got
is it's there-then it's not !

I'm being treated like a fool !

So after all
is said and done

and I've thrown everybody out...

I scour my place
sweat running down my face,

and I'm alone without a doubt.

It sickens my heart
to know I'm disrespected,

it really cuts me like a knife !

These stranger  times
really don't deserve rhymes,

They're just an ugly part of life !

You got it Doc...sometimes the truth hurts..and ...

when confronted- one may think you have a friend...but it appears only a person of prey...you don't steal from a friend.....a sad lesson learned...a truthful piece indeed..
