WELCOME HOME
The sky was hazy blue
The sun just barely shining through
Morning breezes silent
Song birds all were quiet
It was as if the world had stopped
And I had lost all thought
Like walking through a dream
Caught in a space inbetween
Not knowing if awake or in slumber
I continued on in such wonder
Familiar voices heard, but no one I could see
Then it finally occured to me
That I had died and was moving on
To another existance somewhere beyond
Death had come without pain or fear
I heard my name called by a voice so sweet and clear
A loved one lost so long ago, now appeared to me
Don't you know, you are finally free
You have only to walk through the gate right here
And step into eternity, welcome home my dear
