Solitude or Loneliness

Ah solitude the choice to be alone,
with no one to interupt you,
or call you on the phone,

so what you think of loneliness?,
tortured soul, mundane,
no one for you to talk with,
no one to call your name,

Are these four walls built for comfort?,
or a prision cell,
if solitude's a friend,
is loneliness a hell?

I'm alone but not lonely,
content with my own skin,
but loneliness who can bear,
as patience wears so thin,

The highlight of my day,
is to chat a the corner shop,
but the low point i can say ,
is i wish that it would stop,

There has to be a answer,
someone for me to greet,
but loneliness is winning,
will i admit defeat?,

maybe i will meet somebody,
that will turn my world around,
i hope it is tomorrow,
to end this empty sound,

I must keep on looking outward,
instead of looking in,
keep my hopes alive,
then i know that i will win.

Big Allzer's poem

I feel the words that you wrote as I too have had experience of solitude, (choice), and loneliness, (not by choice). I do not like the style where capitalisation is not used as your i instead of I. I too have a poem on loneliness called "No one heard" Regards Baz
