Naked Ravens

perhaps we were ravens once,
sleek ebon feathers
piercing
rainbows of indifference,
remember?
we listened to samurai swords
clashing and splitting
through the aphonic darkness,
gathering fin and wing
around us

we watch smoldering embers
slowly dying
we fall from the sky
silently drawn to the earth below

Sinking, sinking black feathers

fluttering, down and down and down, sharp the piercing silence as we find ourselves in your ephemeral vision, diaphanous and unreal forgotten crows of times morning. Ann of Norway

i forgot about the poem

i forgot about the poem until i received from my editor for corrections. i hate the title... but couldn't come up with a better one... and he thinks single world titles don't cut it. Then a few days ago, a raven flew over me... i was under its shadow. Usually not a good omen. Once i dreamed a raven flew into my hair and i awoke with my hands frantically shooing away my dream. lol. wonder what it means this time. Falling feathers:Shadows

Falling feathers: Shadows cast by daffodils black against the wall motionless Outside a feather lost by a lone and migrant bird floating downwards Inside silhouettes of daffodils darken, darken and thoughts like unexpected feathers forever fall Mike "not all matterings of mind equal one violet" ~ e e cummings ~

I see the shimmering and feint rainbow lustre on the oh so dark

Mmm a wholesome read this for some reason, it settled me & I loved it, a story, lovely mind journey, rich I see the shimmering and feint rainbow lustre on the oh so dark feathered surface. I like the darkness without the discomfort (seem to be so sensitive just recently) Enjoyed this a great deal.~ Anni ~~~ "... sometimes I hear my voice - And it's been here ....
