we have been betrayed

we have been betrayed
and we don't even know it,
not fully,
no,
never fully,
betraying ourselves
even to the point,
decimals and fractions
inclinations and
petitions
to make reasonable
decisions based on an
uncomplicated mind,
yes,
far too complicated
and complicit without
any single act of reservation,
fictionalized heroes
roaming
the House of the Undead,

pleading:

give me!
give me!
give me!

a handout..
a prayer...
an uncomplicated mind.

where orchids dream
and my tziigane soul
goes mad with song.

Oh Gypsy girl, dance!

You dance and sing your songs of betrayal. Yes the world has no place for those who do not fit the norm, we can become poets and rant and rage, we can sing songs, we can do the dance that all people should be moved by, but they still do not accept us, labelled and stamped upon by all. This life is never fair, we have to make our own way through the forests of man's prejudices and black humour. While the 'duende' of nature's people sings on and fascinates. Ann of Norway

Yes, you get to very heart

Yes, you get to very heart of it: where trust is a debased currency and we are forced to live within our soul's means. We have to learn to cherish self and if needs be learn to dance alone before the next excuse-me rescues us from wall-flowering. Powerful and so very true.
